“Before I get to Jon I want to give you a little of our history from the apartment we live in here in Torrance. It’s an older apartment on 235th street with 4 units, we have lived at this location in the front large unit for approximately 25 years. We’ve had several owners and several so called property managers handling our unit over the years – none so far have come even close to the service that Jon brings to us as well as the other tenants in our building.

Our first contact with Jon was in July of 2014 – when there was an immediate and abrupt change in property managers as well as a very major leak in our unit from the unit above which was pouring water through the ceiling into our bedroom over our bed. We couldn’t get a hold of our regular property manager (which wasn’t surprising as that was always the issue). In fact we hadn’t even been notified yet that Jon was our new manager as he had just been signed on by the building owner. Once we found out who he was, he had contacted us immediately, came over and surveyed the damage and, went into action working with both the insurance adjusters and contractors to oversee that the work was done correctly and completely. He was always available to us either by phone or in person and committed to making sure the problem was taken care of quickly.

Jon is conscientious and personable and truly cares not only about the tenants needs but also in maintaining a well-balanced relationship between what the tenant wants and what the owner can agree to and comes up with a solution acceptable for both parties. He is a true professional and cares about the property he manages and the tenants within. He actually takes the time to come over and see how things are going, the appearance of the place, and when there are issues between the tenants that cannot be resolved between us – he intervenes in a very professional manner. He takes our issues seriously and responds quickly with a resolution.

Jon has a computer system that we can type in any of our repair needs, and is always available by phone for any urgent matters. This same computer system he uses allows us to pay our rent so there’s no lost mail or need to run to the post office or his office to mail it. Quite convenient.
